application to brief: I enjoy consuming content that presents a realistic way of life, not fabricated or unachievable- I feel as though that is always presented in modern media forms. I particularly like outward fashion that makes a statement, sometimes I find things to be repetitive so for me to engage with a magazine I like it to be conceptual, innovative and interesting, it makes it worth looking at as its something new.

Age: 52
Gender: male identifying
Race: white (British)
Interests: gaming, politics, history
Psychometric group: Achiever/ Maker
Application to brief: I use the internet to consume magazine content sometime a hard copy if I have a long journey to be had. I read history, economics, gaming, tech and current affairs.Magazines go into topics more thoroughly than daily newspapers. Also, they carry a far wider range of subject matter. I like to read at least two newspapers (The Times and the FT) every other day. However, there is only so much detail from newspapers. For longer, thoughtful articles, I turn to magazines. I read The Economist and the BBC history magazines (monthly), I also read a magazine called Stuff which looks into the world of future technology. I believe if you have a particular interest that you want to follow in-depth regularly, magazines are a great source. I also find some magazines are so beautifully designed, illustrated, and written that they become addictive!
